Costume design workshops
The Carnival Camp workshops are aimed at working with 8 to 10 schools and several community groups based in and around the central area of Bristol. The final day is based on reflecting the achievements of the participants through the Masquerade procession which takes to the streets of the area on Carnival Day. This helps us to highlight the achievement of individual schools in creating costumes and the main 'monarch' costumes as well as performing a choreographed, set dance piece developed in the workshops.
